FSUE SRPE Bazalt is Russia’s leading manufacturer of all kinds of unguided aerial bombs,mortar shells projectiles of all types and calibers, antitank grenade launchers and antisaboteur grenade launcher systems, hand offensive and defensive grenades, nonlethal ammunition.
The armaments and munitions of FSUE SRPE Bazalt serve in more than 100 countries across the globe. Licenses for the production of 61 types of munitions (including 20 kinds of aerial bombs, 28 kinds of antitank grenade close combat weapons, 13 kinds of mortar rounds) have been handed over to 11 countries which have built over 20 manufacturing facilities for their manufacture.
The enterprise sustains and develops its sceientific, production and intellectual potential, produces high-performance modern weapon systems. Being relatively constructively simple, economically efficient and reducibile in production the ammunition produced by FSUE SRPE Bazalt provokes great interest. It is also in steady demand on the world market of weapons, has high rates for effectiveness and safety of performance, for security during maintenance and application.
FSUE SRPE Bazalt is a full-cycle enterprise (from development to scrapping of obsolete items). It actively participates in the implementation of the Federal Target Program “Elimination of chemical weapon stocks in Russian Federation”. In this way it brings into effect the internationally binding commitment of Russia concerning chemical demilitarization. The activity of the enterprise in this domain is aimed at safe storage, transportation and disposal of aerial and artillery chemical weapons which are in arsenal of chemical weapons of Russia.
In compliance with Enactment of the Russian President and of the Russian Federation Committee on Military-Technical Cooperation with Foreign Countries, in April 2003 it obtained the right to export sales which included the sale of spare parts, maintenance, repair, modernization and extension of service life of military hardware.
FSUE SRPE Bazalt has merged into Russian Technologies State Corporation. The priority measures of the enterprise: fundamental improvement of financial and economic performance, as well as unconditional fulfillment of obligations concerning government's defence order and export contracts, further development of military-technical cooperation with foreign countries, clear-cut ascendancy of politico-military positions of Russian Federation in different regions of the world, stabilize the military potential of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and defensive capacity of Motherland.
